Impractical Jokers: The Complete Fifth Season

October 12, 2017 by Jacob Sahms Leave a Comment

Formerly of the comedy sketch group, The Tenderloins, “Joe” Gatto, “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and  “Sal” Vulcano are four high school friends from Staten Island, NY, who now make a living trying to embarrass each other on a hidden camera television show. It’s amazing the lengths they’ll go – and how infrequently they actually upset each other! Each episode they compete to see who will have to do the final, wild challenge.

On the fifth season DVD collection, the four discs collect a hilarious variety of settings and challenges. The team leads off with a gig as a receptionist, forced to ask certain irreverent questions and say ridiculous things; by the second episode, they work in a printing company office, asking customers for their scarves, wives’ email addresses, or posting post-it notes on each other’s heads.

Through the season, they’ll sell unsellable inventions, babysit kids in the park, drive cabs in New York City, serve as sheriffs in Nevada, assist a cow in labor, ask questions of strangers in parks, and so much more.

While it may be uncomfortable to be one of the poor average Joes stumbling into their scenes, these guys are sure having fun. And it’s laugh outloud insane.
