Sometimes, when you’re mining trash, you find some gold.
Young Farts Trailer Parts follows small-town brothers, Jagger and Dawson Glowatsky. As the owners of Young Farts RV Parts, the two young men spend their days scavenging for trailer trash so that they can turn them into cash. Having built a multi-million dollar business, the good-hearted duo will try just about anything to make a buck while supporting their family in the process.
With Young Farts, Prime Video officially steps into the (lucrative) world of reality television with a series that’s short on depth but deeply lovable. Admittedly, there isn’t much to this series about two brothers and their family as they lead their RV parts company in their community. These are just regular people who are trying to live their lives in a small corner of the Prairies.
But what makes Trailer Parts delightfully special are the Young Farts themselves. Whether or not you care about this little junk depot in rural Alberta, you absolutely cannot help but fall in love with the Glowatsky brothers. Yes, we are fully aware that reality television has a certain level of scripting to them but there remains something entirely honest about Jagger and Dawson.
They just seem… pure.
Not pure in the sense of perfection. These are two young men who have earned their stripes and have made mistakes along the way. But there’s such a genuineness about them that you can’t help but feel like you’re meeting the real guys. These aren’t performative stars who throw glasses of wine and complain about the manager. They’re just two guys who have worked hard to build something that matters. They love beer, smoking, their family and, most importantly, each other. In the unreal world of reality television, they feel entirely authentic. And we love them for it.

Together, they’re simply a joy to watch onscreen. Whether they’re garnering support for their haunted house or negotiating the re-zoning of their compound, they remain the eternal underdogs worth rooting for. They’re intelligent young men who know how to scramble yet they carry an innocence about them that makes them endearing. (And honestly, the ‘viral ads’ that begin every episode are so deliciously silly that one can’t help but enjoy them.)
In this spirit, Young Farts also presents a positive view of family. Working with both their mother and father, there’s no (well, very little) tension between them all. Yes, tensions can arise when the pressure is on. But that’s normal family drama. Young Farts isn’t designed to be a salacious look at the inner workings of a mega machine. Instead, it’s a series that highlights how families show up for and support one another.
And frankly, in the cutthroat world of reality television, that’s almost refreshing.
That love for one another stands out in a world filled with Real Housewives and Million-Dollar Nannies. No, there may not be much subtext to Young Farts Trailer Parts but, dangit, they’re hard not to like. (Especially when they feel so real in the process.)
Young Farts Trailer Parts is available exclusively on Prime Video on July 17th, 2026.
