This week, on a very special crossover episode of the podcast, we join forces with Mikey Fissel (Reel World Theology) and Pastor James Harleman (Cinemagogue) to discuss the biggest film of the summer – CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR! We discuss everything from post-modern ideology to that airport fight. Don’t miss it!

About Steve Norton

Steve Norton is a pastor, hubby, and daddy (x2). I am a dedicated Jesus follower who looks for new ways to bring God glory and I have a ridiculous passion for film. It's one of my distinct interests to explore the connection between the two as well. Over the last 5 years, I've been proud to be a writer for Hollywood Jesus, Love Is Moving magazine and now, I have the privilege to help create ScreenFish.net! #forHisglory

This is one of the best superhero movies I’ve ever seen in my life!

It’s definitely up there, Yon! Why’d you like it so much?

Because if you think about it, this is the first time you’ve ever these Heroes on screen together and the fight scene at the end which I’m not giving away any spoilers but it gets to you on an emotional level and you actually care why there fighting each other something that batman v superman couldn’t do.

It’s true. There’s a love for the characters that BvS doesn’t necessarily have… but I’m not entirely sure that isn’t because of the film’s before it. Still, the action sequences are top notch for sure!

I like the fact that all the superheroes are flawed and that nobody gets out of the film without a scar (physical, mental, or emotional).
