The sequel to the ABBA-inspired cinematic translation of the hit musical,?Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again?serves as a sequel (and prequel) to the origin story. Here, an all-star cast including Amanda Seyfried, Christine Baranski, Pierce Brosnan, Andy Garc?a, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsg?rd, Cher, and Meryl Streep, tells how Donna Sheridan (Streep) arrived on Kalokairi and met Sophie’s (Seyfried) potential dads, while also showing Sophie’s modern-day struggle.
While fans will enjoy the bonus features including the sing-a-longs and various exclusive interviews, costume examinations, and different conversations among cast members, there’s something different about seeing one of the classic divas – Cher – show up on screen again. She’s playing Donna’s mother, and Sophie’s grandmother, but she’s Cher, so she also recorded ABBA’s “Super Trooper” and “Fernando” for the soundtrack!
