Fans of Disney feature cartoon movies… and Emma Watson… are excited about the coming live-action version of Beauty of the Beast coming to theaters in America March 2017. Watson was tagged for the film last year, and fans of the actor, who portrayed Hermione in the Harry Potter films, have been abuzz ever since. Disney has already released a teaser trailer for the upcoming film yesterday, which you can view below.
Disney has done a fabulous job with this teaser, just giving enough to spark interest in the fan base without giving anything away. The close-up of Belle examining the Rose obscures much of Watson’s face, not even letting us know how her hair is styled. The beginning of the trailer continues the recent tradition of incorporating the castle from the movie into the production company credits—a nice touch. I just wish they would have found a way to do this with The Force Awakens. Seriously. Can’t you imagine Maz Kanata’s castle at the beginning of Star Wars VII?
