Premiering at Slamdance, 40 WATTS TO NOWHERE takes us back to the rebel heart of the 1990s. Directed by Susan Carpenter, the new documentary tells the story of KBTL, a local pirate radio station in Southern California. As they play their music their way, they kick at the culture, leaving a mark that still matters to this day. In this 1on1, we speak to Carpenter about the relationship between technology and change and the magic of ‘creative innocence’.
