Nick Corirossi turns absurdist comedy into something gleefully unhinged with The Napa Boys. Reuniting Armen Weitzman, Nelson Franklin, Mike Mitchell, and Jamar Neighbors, the film spoofs franchise storytelling by imagining a group of washed up, wine country legends lured into one last ridiculous adventure.
Corirossi treats the premise with total irreverence, poking fun at cinematic universes while letting his cast riff wildly. Sarah Ramos pops in with scene stealing energy, making the chaos even more delirious. The Napa Boys thrives on its willingness to be silly, meta, and self aware. It is a midnight movie destined to gain cult status.
Napa is less about plot than about comic invention, a wine soaked farce that skewers ego, nostalgia, and the ridiculousness of giving heroes multiple sequels. It’s loud, loose, and proudly ridiculous, the kind of comedy that makes festival audiences erupt with laughter.
